With an economy firing on all cylinders, many Albertans are upgrading their household items.
In this case, this sofa which has likely been part of the family for years finds itself outside looking in.
In most cities, commercial and large apartment buildings have their garbage handled by a private company. In most cases, they pickup once or twice a week and usually they only pick up their own bins. If this is the case, this sofa may be sitting in the cold for a few more days....
Here is another picture from my Niagara Fall's visit.
As hard as it is to believe, I felt colder standing at the falls than I felt walking in minus 40 degree temperatures.

Hey Again! ;)
LOVE that sofa shot...hilarious! It's not from YOUR place is it? =)
But Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr with the others! Nice captures BTW!
And you're CONFUSING me...Left Bank IS here in the Bay Area...and go on...finish that red wine comment!
Not nice to leave me hangin'!
Have a toasty day!
;)
That poor displaced sofa, so cold and lonely. Such a cruel fate. Great photos and the falls are especially beautiful.
ame,
My mistake, I keep thinking of Santa Clara being just north of LA instead of being closer to San Francisco. I actually went to the Left Bank in Walnut Creek for New Years a few years ago. As for my red wine comment, I was told by friends, that red wine has the same effect on many as tequilla. Ame, do you have anything to add?
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...well...if tequilla makes you a better unicycle rider and increases your creative blog potential and makes you contemplate living at Stonehenge and causes you to type run-on sentences in Canadian blogs then I'd have to say, YES! Red wine is exACTly the same! LOL! ;)
And you're probably confused about Left Bank cuz I'm originally from Southern California...and used to live closer to LA than SF!
Did this help?
=)))
Yes it did help. I have been completely set straight. :))))
Well sort of.
Poor Sofa..... (smiling)
Good topic conversation shot.
