How cold is it?

I woke up this morning to minus 16 and the windows frosty. After a quick walk outside, it was time to come in a warm up.

Alberta's temperature can vary from minus 45 to plus 33 Celsius during the year. It starts getting cold in October, the true cold arrives in January and February.

hey ame ;)

It is great to be back... It maybe hard to believe but this it is much nicer being in the dry cold of Alberta rather than the moist warmer cold of Toronto.

I am glad that you enjoyed the picture, it is surprising just how much more careful you look at things when you need a picture a day.

Btw.. I have no idea what these frosty patterns are called?

The frost patterns are absolutely beautiful. I was looking at the picture; mesmerized of beauty in the simplest of forms.

It's amazing what we take for granted everyday.
